They do not inspect the premises
Remember that if someone suffers from an injury on your property, you are liable. As a business, you must protect the safety of your guests and staff. You and your employees should monitor workspaces and the grounds.
They forget to warn employees and guests
Sometimes, you cannot fix the problem right away. If this is the case, then you must warn everyone about the problem. If there is a spill and you still must gather supplies to take care of it, then you need to put up a sign so that everyone can avoid the hazard.
They do not correct the issue
Once discovered, you must correct the issue at hand. Even if you only suspect a problem, you are liable for any damages that occur due to the problem. If you know that there is a spill in an aisle and refuse to take care of it, assuming someone else will and someone slips and falls, the liability is yours. If it is icy outside and you figure someone else salted the steps, then when someone falls, you may face a lawsuit.
