Position Overview

Are you looking for an opportunity to showcase your litigation skills and try complex cases to verdict? We are seeking an associate with 4 to 7 years of litigation experience to join our growing practice. Are you someone who: + is an experienced litigator interested in civil defense including representing Fortune 500 companies. + is capable of independently working-up complex casualty cases for trial and representing clients in the courtroom as part of the trial team. + knows how to answer discovery and write briefings. + wants to depose key witnesses, conduct direct and cross-examinations of witnesses at trial, and handle oral arguments of motions before the Court. + is a strong litigator who enjoys closely collaborating with clients, developing creative solutions, and trying difficult cases, Then, this opportunity is for you. 

Starting Salary |

$125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of complex civil litigation matters 
  • Conduct legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Represent clients in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
  • Well-versed in all types of litigation defense practices. 
  • Handle all aspects of cases assigned to them, from the inception of the matter to defending the case before a jury.  
  • Direct client contact and opportunities to market your skills and capabilities for additional work. 
  • You will collaborate with other accomplished lawyers in your office and across the firm, managing multiple cases at a time. 

Requirements

  • License to practice law in Colorado
  • Litigation or trial experience (4 - 7+ years)
  • Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Analytical skills
