Knight Nicastro has expanded into Illinois, opening offices in Chicago and Peoria, and adding five new attorneys to strengthen its litigation capabilities in transportation and other high-stakes cases. This move follows significant early-year growth, including notable additions to its Missoula, Montana office.

Knight Nicastro has opened offices in Chicago and Peoria, Illinois, and added five attorneys to its team of skilled litigators. The attorneys add to Knight Nicastro’s significant experience representing clients in the transportation industry and continue the firm’s impressive momentum attracting top-talent this year. During the first quarter, four attorneys joined the firm’s Missoula, Montana, office including the former senior general attorney for BNSF Railway and a former assistant United States attorney.

The new attorneys include:

Member Richard Sikes (Chicago)

Senior attorney Matthew Jardine (Chicago)

Attorneys (Chicago) and Mallory Sanzeri (Chicago).

The firm’s Peoria office is located at One Technology Plaza, 211 Fulton Street, Suite 692; and its Chicago office is located at 200 W. Adams Street, Suite 2445.

Sikes is an experienced trial and appellate attorney who represents transportation industry clients in high-stakes cases, defends state actors against civil rights claims and serves as lead counsel in other civil and commercial litigation. He is a former assistant state’s attorney for Cook County, Illinois, where he prosecuted 49 felony jury cases to verdict including several capital cases. He received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law.

Jardine represents corporate clients in high-stakes litigation nationwide, including product liability, construction, transportation, railroad, environmental, commercial litigation and other civil disputes. He received his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Price focuses her practice on the defense of transportation companies as well as other civil litigation and personal injury matters including civil rights and toxic tort cases. She received her Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law.

Sanzeri’s practice is devoted to a wide variety of civil litigation matters including transportation law, FELA, product liability, premises liability, construction law and subrogation. She received her Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law.
