Mike Stillman

Mike Stillman is a veteran attorney with varied practice and significant trial experience. He has tried numerous civil trials to verdict including wrongful death, serious personal injury cases, and class action matters. His experience includes significant party, witness, medical and expert depositions.

Mike was the managing shareholder of a Chicago mid-sized civil practice firm where he was the chair of the trial committee analyzing cases that likely were to go to verdict. He also is general counsel of multiple municipalities and Illinois governmental entities in which he oversees all facets of their legal work including for some, evaluation of exposure in litigated matters. Additionally, he is also a well-recognized practitioner of zoning and development law and related real estate matters with a focus in utilizing economic development and redevelopment tools to result in new facilities.

Mike has been an adjunct professor in various law topics at Lewis University and South Suburban College in Illinois. He is the father of 2 adult children. Mike is the President of Brother Rice High School (Chicago) Foundation and is the Secretary of This Iowa Ballpark, an organization which is responsible for overseeing the ballpark where the Major League game is played at the Field of Dreams Movie Site. When not practicing law, Mike likes to golf and is an avid and sometimes suffering fan of the Chicago White Sox.
