Seamus Molloy is a trial attorney who has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. Seamus represents companies and individuals in a wide variety of disputes, including personal injury and professional malpractice matters, construction defect cases and complex commercial litigation.
Seamus began his legal career serving as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ronald B. Leighton of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and the Honorable Chief Justice Mike McGrath of the Montana Supreme Court. During his clerkships, Seamus worked on a wide variety of cases, including complex business disputes, insurance coverage disputes and constitutional rights claims. After completing his clerkships, Seamus worked for a large commercial litigation firm in Portland, Oregon, and a general practice civil litigation firm in Missoula, Montana, before joining Knight Nicastro MacKay in 2020.
Seamus graduated from the University of Montana School of Law with honors. While in law school, he served as an editor for the Montana Law Review and competed on the National Moot Court team. He received his undergraduate degree from Carroll College where he double majored, receiving a B.A. with distinction in both history and political science. While in college, Seamus was a two-time NAIA Football National Champion, 1st Team All-American Linebacker and served as a captain his senior year for the Carroll College Fighting Saints football team.
