Caleena D. Svatek is a trial lawyer with experience in litigating a wide variety of civil litigation matters including transportation law, FELA, medical malpractice, construction defect, and toxic tort. She has a record of thirteen defense verdicts, six of those as first chair trial attorney. Her accomplishments include multiple summary judgments in defense of personal injury and toxic exposure lawsuits.

Prior to joining Knight Nicastro, Caleena worked with a litigation defense firm in Dallas, Texas and prior to that a national toxic tort law firm representing Fortune 500 companies in product liability, premises liability, and environmental litigation. Prior to earning her law license, Caleena clerked for the Honorable Martin Hoffman of the 68th District Court in Dallas County. While at Baylor Law School, Caleena was a member of Baylor’s nationally recognized mock trial team, having participated in numerous national tournaments.

Caleena was selected as a 2018 Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
